Sponsor a Bluebell Square in Weston Woods!
Why not connect yourself, or you loved ones to a square full of Bluebells in Weston Woods? This Easter we will be providing sponsors with a special Bluebell certificate. And it is a great opportunity to visit the woods and enjoy the bluebells and the wild garlic in their profusion! More details to follow, or fill in the form below, and send a payment of £25 each to Menston Area Nature Trust (see instructions below).
We want you to have a chance to feel you have a tangible stake in nature, in particular in Weston Woods, which so many people have helped us to purchase for the community and wildlife. We are doing this through a scheme of sponsoring a 3x3m square in Weston Wood. Here is how it works:
- The entire wood has been split into squares which measure 3x3m.
- Each square has a precise What3Words address.
- Each square can be sponsored for £25 each per year.
- After the first year the sponsorship can be continued, if wished, for £5/square/year.
- You receive a Certificate with the What3Words address so you can visit your square either virtually or in person.
To sponsor one or more squares:
- either fill in the form below which will then take you to payment by bank transfer,
- or see the instructions for alternative methods below the form.
Please note, if you have already paid for your square(s) in the Crowdfunder site there is no need to pay again – the link will open the payment site, but you can just close it again. The form will still come through.
Any money raised through square sponsorship will initially go towards paying off the loan to purchase the woods, and after that is paid off, towards essential maintenance work.

CHEQUE: If you prefer to pay by cheque please make it out to “Menston Area Nature Trust” and send it to MANT, Willow Dene, Bradford Road, Menston, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, LS29 6ED, stating the names for each certificate and if you would like to continue the sponsorship after the first year for £5/square/year.
CARD: Please email squares@mant.org.uk stating the name(s) you would like on the certificate(s) and if you would like to continue the sponsorship after the first year at £5/square/year. Please pay by card here.
